Lion Pose or Simhasana

How to do it?

  • Sit in Vajrasana, spread your knees and place the hands on thighs (make sure spine remains straight and relaxed)
  •  Now inhale and exhale with tongue out. (look between eyebrows and roar like a lion while exhalating)
  •  Hold the posture for 25-35 secs and repeat for 5-8 times.

  • Sit in Padmasana with knees touching the floor and hands placed on the knees (make sure the spine is straight and relaxed)
  • Bend the head forward so that it the chin touches the chest.
  • Inhale and hold the breathe for some seconds (if one is a beginner than it is advisied to go slow and eventually increase the time of holding breathe)
  • Lift the head up and slowly exhale.
  • Repeat for 4-6 times

This is considered one of the best yoga to get rid of double chin.
Firm Cheeks
This face yoga mudra helps to tighten the muscles and helps in achieving firmer cheeks. It tones the face and cheeks.

How to do it?

  • Sit in a meditative posture.
  • Inhale as shown in the picture and exert pressure inside mouth.
  • Hold the breathe for 10 seconds and exhale slowly (one can increase the seconds with proper practise).

Fish face
It tones and stretches one’s cheeks and outer corner of lips thus helps in getting rid of face fat around the cheeks and jawline.

How to do it?

  • Make fish face as shown in the picture
  • Hold the fish face and smile wide as much as possible (one should feel the stretch when smiling)
  • Hold for 15-20 seconds and repeat for 4-6 times.

  • Place both the hands on forehead facing inwards
  • Spread the fingers between eyebrows and hairline.
